Abe’s Real Bagels production expansion had overloaded their existing blast freezer capacity and a new upgraded system was required.

Shannon Refrigeration supplied and installed one SRM Tech condensing unit and Modine evaporator to upgrade the existing blast freezer.

The system operates on refrigerant R449A which is a long term HFC option with a GWP value of 1397 and is a suitable refrigerant option to replace refrigerant R404A.

The SRM Tech system was delivered as a factory wired skid ready to go and included electronic expansion valves on the blast evaporator and EC condenser fans to maximise energy efficiency.
